Another poll finds D-F-L'er Amy Klobuchar maintaining a big lead over Republican Mark Kennedy in Minnesota's race for U.S. Senate.
The Mason-Dixon poll was conducted for the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Minnesota Public Radio.
It found Klobuchar was supported by 52 percent of registered voters -- a 15-percentage-point lead over Kennedy, who was favored by 37 percent. Independence Party candidate Robert Fitzgerald and Green Party candidate Michael Cavlan each had the support of one percent.
The results are similar to other recent polls that found Klobuchar with a strong lead over Kennedy.
But the poll found Kennedy winning the support of nearly all Republicans surveyed. That could be a weakness for Klobuchar if Republicans win the get-out-the-vote effort.
The poll surveyed 625 registered Minnesota voters by telephone from last Monday through Wednesday. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus four percentage points.
