Democrats Release Online Quiz to Provide New Mexicans a Guide to Wilson's Record
Republican Heather Wilson, who has compiled a record of supporting George Bush 85 percent of the time while voting to stay the course in Iraq, scuttle ethics reform, and block adequate health care for veterans, is set to announce today that she will run for the United States Senate.
"Heather Wilson has voted with George Bush enough to make the honor roll, but this isn't high school, and a gold star from the president won't earn her a promotion to the Senate," DSCC spokesman Matthew Miller said. "Heather Wilson has voted to support George Bush's failed status quo in Iraq while opposing adequate health care for veterans returning home. She has a long, troubling record that New Mexicans will overwhelmingly reject."
The DSCC also released the following online quiz, which can be found HERE, to help New Mexicans decide whether Heather Wilson is right for them.
