U.S. Rep. Sherrod Brown is turning up the star power of his campaign, bringing in big-name politicians and television actors to support his bid to unseat U.S. Sen. Mike DeWine.

The line-up Brown, D-Avon, has called in to appear at a traveling road show to college campuses this week and at an $1,000 per person fundraiser Monday includes two repeat performers from earlier in the campaign.

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., the headliner at the fundraiser, and U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., have visited Ohio to support Brown already this year.

Clinton will join Brown, former President Bill Clinton adviser James Carville, former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Luke Perry and current "The O.C." star Adam Brody on the college tour.

Brown's wife, Connie Schultz, a Pulitzer-prizewinning columnist for The Plain Dealer, will also participate.

"The tour is focused on the rising cost of education in Ohio," Brown spokesman Ben LaBolt said. "Ohio's already losing too many people to other states."
