Pryor Introduces Bill To Improve High School Graduation Rates

U.S. Senator Mark Pryor has introduced a bill intended to improve high school graduation rates throughout the country. The bill Pryor introduced Wednesday at Washington is called the Getting Retention and Diplomas Up Among Today's Enrolled Students Act, or, putting all those first-letters together, the GRADUATES Act.The bill would create a $500 million grant program for schools to reach out to at-risk students. The $500 million would provide grants for six years.
