Pryor met with military officials at both locations, discussing everything from equipment to military housing.

The senator says he wants to make sure Arkansas' 39th Infantry Brigade has all the equipment they need before they re-deploy to Iraq.

When it was time to come home from their first deployment, the Department of Defense ordered the 39th to leave everything they had overseas--promising new equipment stateside when they returned home.

But it took more than a year for everything to arrive.

(Sen. Mark Pryor, (D) Arkansas) "We want our soldiers to go into battle as well equipped, as well trained as they possibly can...like they should be."
